Sometimes a covered item fails indirectly—meaning it’s actually damaged by another part of your RV. In those cases, consequential loss coverage steps up, protecting you in a wide range of situations.
Consequential loss may seem like a complicated, hard-to-understand coverage, but the general definition is fairly simple: consequential loss covers damage to a covered item caused by a non-covered item.
So even if the issue originated with a non-covered part, consequential loss applies coverage to the items that are covered under the warranty.
Let's say a hose fails on your hydraulic system. That failure causes the hydraulic pump in the leveling system to break. The RV owner, noticing their RV is not maintaining level, contacts a mobile mechanic.

ARW pays to fix the pump
Even though the hose is not covered under the warranty, the hydraulic pump is covered with consequential loss coverage. The mechanic replaces the pump, ARW pays the mechanic, and the RVer gets back to enjoying their RV.
At ARW, we believe that every RVer deserves the best protection available without being nickel-and-dimed.
